Introducing AIII: Artificial Intelligence in Islam
Artificial Intelligence is transforming every aspect of our lives—work, communication, decision-making, and even how we view the world. But what about its impact on our faith, our values, and our communities?
This is where AIII (Artificial Intelligence In Islam) comes in. It’s an idea I’ve been reflecting on for a while. The goal is simple: to explore how Islamic principles can guide us in this era of rapid technological change.
As Muslims, we face unique questions. How do we reconcile advancements in AI with our ethical framework? How do we ensure that the tools we create or use align with our core values? How can AI help us, rather than distract us, from living meaningful lives?
With my background in technology, psychology, and education—and my deep interest in Islamic studies—I feel a responsibility to dive into these questions. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I’m ready to start the conversation.
I’ll be exploring topics like:
- Ethics in AI development and usage.
- The role of AI in modern-day Muslim practices.
- Challenges of privacy, bias, and trust.
This project is more than just research for me—it’s a personal journey. If any of these questions resonate with you, or if you’re curious about where this is headed, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Let’s figure this out together.
