For Muslims, the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ example stands as a timeless guide for how to engage with others in a spirit of respect, wisdom, and sincerity. The Historical Context

During the 6th year of Hijrah, following the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the Prophet ﷺ began a new phase of inviting others to Islam by reaching out to the leaders of major empires and tribes. This included letters sent to the Byzantine Emperor Heraclius, the Persian King Khosrow II, the Egyptian ruler Muqawqis, and others.

Each letter began with the name of Allah, invoking His attributes as the Most Gracious and Most Merciful. The Prophet ﷺ introduced himself as the Messenger of Allah and invited the rulers to accept Islam with dignity and peace. For example, his letter to Heraclius stated:

"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. From Muhammad, the servant and Messenger of Allah, to Heraclius, the Great of Byzantium. Peace be upon those who follow the guidance. I invite you to Islam. Accept Islam and you will be safe, and Allah will double your reward. But if you reject, the sin of your subjects will fall upon you."

The letters were not merely invitations; they were examples of precise communication, respect for the recipient’s position, and a clear articulation of the message of Islam.

  تسببت تلك الصرخة الهائلة التي أطلقها الكائن الفضائي في فقداني للوعي وحين فتحت عينيّ، شعرت بثقل في رأسي وكأنني كنت نائمًا لقرون. تململت قليلًا، وحين حاولت النهوض، وجدت نفسي مقيّدًا داخل زنزانة معدنية باردة. كانت جدرانها تُصدر وهجًا خافتًا بلون أزرق غريب، وبابها بلا مفصلات أو مقبض، وكأنه قطعة واحدة لا تُفتح ولا تُغلق. تحسّست معصميّ لأجد أصفادًا شفّافة، كأنها مصنوعة من الضوء نفسه. لا ألم، لا إحساس بالضغط، ولكن لا مجال للتحرّك .
