The Quranic Verse

"وَادْعُوا شُهَدَاءَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ" 

“...and call your witnesses besides Allah if you are truthful” (Surat Al-Baqarah: 23)

  تسببت تلك الصرخة الهائلة التي أطلقها الكائن الفضائي في فقداني للوعي وحين فتحت عينيّ، شعرت بثقل في رأسي وكأنني كنت نائمًا لقرون. تململت قليلًا، وحين حاولت النهوض، وجدت نفسي مقيّدًا داخل زنزانة معدنية باردة. كانت جدرانها تُصدر وهجًا خافتًا بلون أزرق غريب، وبابها بلا مفصلات أو مقبض، وكأنه قطعة واحدة لا تُفتح ولا تُغلق. تحسّست معصميّ لأجد أصفادًا شفّافة، كأنها مصنوعة من الضوء نفسه. لا ألم، لا إحساس بالضغط، ولكن لا مجال للتحرّك .
